Individual Therapy

Sometimes life brings us to a point where we realize that the ways we've been coping, the strategies that got us this far, aren't working the way they used to. Maybe you're navigating the aftermath of a painful relationship, carrying wounds from your past that keep surfacing in the present, or simply feeling like you've lost touch with who you are and what you actually want.
Individual therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and start building a life that feels more like your own. It's not about being handed answers, it's about having the support and structure to find your own.
My approach is psychodynamically informed, which means we don't just focus on what's happening on the surface. We explore the deeper patterns, early experiences, and unconscious dynamics that shape how you relate to yourself and others. Understanding the "why" behind your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors is often where the most meaningful shifts begin.
As an LMFT in Los Angeles, I work with individual adults navigating trauma, narcissistic and emotional abuse recovery, relationship patterns, anxiety, and major life transitions. Alongside psychodynamic exploration, I draw on attachment-based therapy to examine how your early relationships show up in the present, EMDR to help process memories that feel stuck, and present-moment awareness to help you reconnect with yourself along the way.
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and neither is the path forward. If you're ready to better understand yourself and make meaningful, lasting change, I'd love to help you get there.
If you're searching for a psychodynamic therapist or individual therapist in Los Angeles, I offer in-person and online therapy in LA for adults seeking real, lasting support.
